Have you ever thought about your relationship to change?  Most people feel uncomfortable with change and therefore resist it because change represents the unknown.  However, change is the only constant in life.  It is happening around us all the time.

Making friends with change will open a world of possibilities.  Dismantle your old way of thinking about the unknown.  When you were a child, everything was “unknown” and most likely you were filled with a sense of awe and wonder.

A
new way to approach change is to embrace creativity.  When you embrace creativity you open yourself to a realm of infinite possibility.

Below are a few exercises to help you change your thoughts and behaviors around money.  I hope you befriend change and embrace creativity as an antidote to the unknown.

Here's to finding joy in change!

Changing your relationship with money!

Our old behaviors and attitudes around money can only bring us the same results we currently have in our lives.  In order to have a new relationship with money we need to change.  Here are a few exercises to help you start creating a new relationship with money.

Change your thinking: Think in terms of circulating vs. spending.  In the dictionary spending means to use up; to exhaust.  Spending is what gave birth to consumerism; a consciousness of exhausting our resources.  Circulate means to move in a circle or circuit and return.

Circulate responsibly:  It’s all in the choices you make on a day to day basis.   Buy with awareness you empower that which you give your energy to in the form of money.

Make mindful choices:  Use your intuition and do a little research you can easily access information through the internet to find out the Mission Statement and Vision of any organization.  Take the time to become familiar with the companies you frequent and empower with your dollars.  Do they contribute to the community?  Do they take responsibility and recycle their waste products?

Simple things you can do: Buy organic produce and support farmers who grow fruits and vegetables in ways that support the environment vs. produce that is grown with pesticides is harmful to the environment and human beings.

Bless your money with thoughts of love, joy, peace, good-will and abundance.  Practice thinking there is enough to go around for everyone.
You are a creative being.  Consciously create a relationship with money that will benefit your life and your world.
